Freeing Ourselves and Our Team from the Inner Critic

If you've ever beaten yourself up over a mistake, felt insecure when learning something new, or wondered when you'd be found out as an imposter - you've encountered your Inner Critic. The Inner Critic is the part of you that wants to protect you from all risk, vulnerability and failure. The trouble is, these are the exact things we need to embrace in order to learn, grow and progress as leaders. And if every team member has their own Inner Critic all blaming, shaming and spouting self-doubt - imagine the sabotage all those little voices can wreak on a high-performing team!
In this Mission, you'll learn what the Inner Critic is up to, how to recognise your own Inner Critic's patterns, and how to practice smart moves that can stop it derailing your growth, progress and success. You'll also pick up Inner Critic-savvy ways of approaching team management. By working directly with your team members' Inner Critic, you'll be more able to help them cultivate the brave vulnerability they need to take on feedback, acknowledge and learn from mistakes, and take on new challenges with confidence and courage.
